Richard Muirhead - (General Manager - Zone Architectural Products)

I was on site last Friday at MIT, and had the opportunity to see substantial areas of Phoenix intumescent, that your team has applied over the last 6 weeks or so. It was impressive !! The finish achieved, on the whole, was first rate, and one that all the team involved in the application should be congratulated for.  Considering the challenges with this site, I believe that Contract Coatings have done a great job, not only in achieving a superior surface finish, but also in achieving the required film builds. The process of working with you and your team, has been enjoyable, and straightforward, due largely to the professionalism displayed by your team. Thank you for supporting Zone and Phoenix, and I look forward to working with you all, on our next major project !

Emma Donkin - (Barfoot & Thompson Mairangi Bay)

I just wanted to say how brilliant Heke and Ryan were when painting through our office recently!! Both were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. It really made the situation so much easier, they’re a credit to you. Please thank them both again for me. Have  a great Christmas holiday break!

E. Richard Leary - (Browns Bay, Auckland)

On behalf of the Auckland Full Gospel Church I retained Contact Coatings to repaint the church internally in a very limited time and with unusual complications. I am an experienced project engineer. Under the stewardship of Mr Darryl Woods, this rather awkward project ran about as perfectly as any I have experienced – in time, in quality and in adherence to the quoted price. In the course of the work, opportunities arose in which a less responsible contractor could have demanded a price increase. This did not happen. The only added cost was where the paint supplier had made a small miscalculation. There was also the business of allowing church members access to equipment to meet their own deadlines – the ceiling is a forest of theatre lighting. Others might have charged the church for this, or at minimum, asked for more time. Contract Coatings despite inconvenience, did not. In short I can unreservedly recommend this company, not least for an obvious policy of co-operation with the customer. Their staff are really good people to work with. These views of mine are shared by the Pastorate of the church. Delighted, in their case, is not too strong a word.

E & J Hadler - (Northcote, Auckland)

We write to you to express our thanks for the very professional approach followed by your employees during the recent painting of our home. From the Contracts Manager down to the apprentice we received expert service. The painters left a very light footprint and consequently were so easy to have around. The advice on type of paint, colour, etc. werevery useful, and our lead painter went out of his way to ensure that we received total satisfaction from the work. We can hardly believe the transformation from a dingy building to something so fresh and attractive. We love it; and would certainly recommend this team. Thank you all once again.

Ray and Denise Bennett - (Birkenhead, Auckland)

Contract Coatings have been carrying out the painting and decorating works in our home, over the last three years, as we totally renovated the interior. The extended programme resulted from our decision to live in our home as the renovation works were carried out. This required a lot of give and take, both in our lifestyle, and from the painting tradesmen who needed to work around us and our belongings. From the outset, Peter and Darryl at the office of Contract Coatings were thoroughly professional in their approach, and sensitive to the fact that this was our home, and we were continuing to live there. They were  proactive in sharing their long experience in the trade, liaising with our interior decorator, with suggestions regarding programming, appropriate painting materials, and cost effective solutions. The attention to protecting furniture, the work of other trades, and their own previously decorated surfaces was faultless. In three years, we did not have one mishap related to painting works. The tradesmen, in particular Bill and Darryl, reflected the culture of the Company. They were firstly, first class tradesmen. They were punctual, meticulous, informed, and thoroughly respectful and courteous to ourselves and any of our friends. At the end of each day, all the painting gear was tidied away, and our home left spotless. Nothing was too much trouble, unflappable in the face of some of our requests, even to the extent of assisting with the gardening during teabreak! We have come to know the Contract Coatings family over these three years, and had a lot of experiences and laughs with them. We would recommend Contract Coatings for this type of work without hesitation, and would welcome any phone call to discuss any aspect of the foregoing.

Carolann Kemp - (Booking Officer – Camp Maynard)

When the paint on the floor in our wet areas continued failing, it was time to call in the experts. Contract Coatings took a look at the area and quickly came up with a solution. They were able to work around our booking schedule at times that suited us and within a few short weeks, had the entire job completed, from grinding the floor back to the final coat. Our wet areas have never looked so good and camp tenants who have stayed at the camp before have commented on how much better it looks and how much easier it is to clean at the end of their stay. Our camp also had different coloured paint in each room. Some acrylic, some enamel and some even acrylic over enamel, which was peeling off severely. Contract Coatings again came up with a solution, preparing the walls to a high standard and giving the interior of the camp a new lease on life, with a fresh neutral colour throughout. We have since had them back to paint the outside of one of our buildings and will continue to utilise them for any and all of our painting work. They were easy to work with, flexible enough to work around our bookings, completed the work on time and with an exceptionally high standard. We cannot rate them highly enough. If you want the job done right first time, then Contract Coatings should be your first call
